Good, but has bugs

I don’t want the “fun” pieces, prefer standard jigsaw pieces. I have cleared all the “fun” pieces from the options, but I still get these goofy shapes each time I open a new puzzle. I have to go into preferences and change the shape back, but it only holds for that puzzle.

Same problem with the background color. It keeps the texture, and if I open options and select the color it shows what I picked. But, when I open a new puzzle the color is the standard for the texture, not the color I set in preferences.

The puzzles are good, and there are a lot of them, which is nice. But, there is no ability to select a photo of my own and have it make a jigsaw from it. A nice feature, but not a game blower.
